These dresses are a simple circle of cloth attached to the bottom of a t-shirt. We have shirts and cloth at the shop, or you are welcome to use your own. Instructions are found at the bottom of this page in downloads. If you're able to attach a couple pairs of underwear in matching size, the little girl or woman in Zimbabwe will be blessed.
These shorts are a great project for beginners or fast for those that know the trade. These are made of a thicker fabric usually, but cotton works too. Putting a couple pairs of age appropriate underwear in the pocket is much appreciated. Instructions, patterns and fabric are all at the shop, but you can download the instructions and patterns below as well and use your own fabric.
Many quilt tops have been donated as well as the fabric for the back. They just need someone to put them together.
Kits to make these cute shoes have been donated. We need people to sew the tops together with machines. The soles will be stitched on in Africa. You can pick up the kits at the toy shop Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Check out this link to see a short tutorial of what is entailed.

Similar to the blankets, these wraps are cut to a rectangle, leaving the selvedge edges intact and surging or hemming the other two sides. They are 65 or 70 inches long, depending on if you have 45 or 60 inch wide fabric. Usually made of gauze or flannel and sometimes cotton.
As we come to the end of the year we need to cross the finish line in a big way. We have grown so much this year. We've made more cars than ever and have more volunteers than ever.
Please donate today to help us keep this going and keep making a difference in the world!
